Sherman Oaks Carnival 2011

On Saturday, April 30th, Sherman Oaks PTC is proud to present our second annual Carnival. All families are invited to attend and enjoy a day of carnival games, food, and a raffle. It is a great day of fun planned and a chance to win many prizes. This event will take place on the playground at Sherman Oaks from 11 AM to 3 PM. The PTC is planning and hosting this event as part of our community building efforts and all support is appreciated from volunteering for a booth, providing any donations for the raffle, or attending and buying food and game and raffle tickets. STAR Testing is in Progress

Star testing is currently in progress from April 21 to May 19th. This is a very important time for our school. Parents, please make sure you make every effort to get to school early or on time in order to allow the kids to do as well as possible on their tests. Thank You!

Movie Night 2010

On Friday, November 19th, Sherman Oaks PTC is proud to present our first ever Movie Night. All students are invited to attend with their families to watch a very recent and popular family movie. This event will take place at the Sherman Oaks Community Center which is right next to our school campus. The movie will begin at 7 PM and free popcorn will be provided. The PTC is planning and hosting this event as part of our community building efforts and we have provided the required movie license and volunteers to bring this event to you. See you there!

Dia De Los Muertos 2010

On Monday, November 1st, Sherman Oaks celebrated Dia De Los Muertos with a student performance in front of the entire school and community. The PTC supported this event by providing Pan Dulce and Hot Chocolate and volunteers to prepare the food and serve all the students. Events like this are important to the Sherman Oaks community because they provide cultural awareness and also help build community spirit.
